Revolver found in Blanchisseuse

An EAA Windicator .38 Special Revolver was found yesterday during an anti-crime exercise in Blanchisseuse

Around 7:30 pm, while searching the La Fillette Cemetery at Cemetery Street, PC Hutchinson found the revolver under some galvanize behind a concrete structure.

The exercise also included checks at the Las Cuevas and Maracas Bay Fishing Depots and road checks at various points along the Paria Main Road and North Coast Road.

It was spearheaded by Ag ACP Andy Belfon, Ag Snr Supt Oswain Subero of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), Ag Snr Supt Winston Maharaj of the North Eastern Division (NED), and ASP Pariman. It was coordinated by ASP Ramesar of the IATF and supervised by PC Gonzales.
