Can you handle spicy food? No, but can you really? All too often foodies like to exaggerate how much they can tolerate, before finding their bravado fails after taking one eye-watering mouthful. And one Thai restaurant has had enough.

The eatery has gone viral online after displaying a no refunds notice, telling customers they can’t get their money back if they order spicy food but “can’t handle it.” Snapped by Rani Molla, the journalist sparked a debate after sharing a photo of the sign to Twitter. Posting as @ranimolla, she captioned the picture: “Local Thai place no longer suffering fools.”
