Rescued “slaves” taken to St. Ann’s

The 69 men and women who were rescued from a prominent Arouca church this morning will be transferred to the St. Ann’s Psychiatric Hospital. Family members are being asked to go to the Hospital to identify their relatives.

The 65 men and four women were held against their will as a rehabilitation strategy under the center, Transformed Life Ministry.
