Unconfirmed reports suggest a police officer was rushed to Hospital after being involved in a shoot out with Venezuelan nationals.
According to reports the incident took place just after 5pm on Wednesday 7th October, where the police officer was shot in his abdomen at John Street in Chaguanas by the two Venezuelans.
The report also states that the Venezuelan nationals where shot and killed during the shoot out.
It is also being said that the two Venezuelan nationals were allegedly wanted for murder in Venezuela and later fled the country.
Firearms were reportedly seized at the scene.
