Repairs To MV Cabo Star Completed

All repair works to the M.V. Cabo Star have been completed.

Confirmation of this comes from the Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago.

The owners of the vessel are awaiting the outcome of today’s inspections by the Classification Society, RINA, before certifying the vessel for safe operations.

As soon as the certification is obtained the vessel will be back on schedule.

Last week, Tuesday, the replacement vessel – M.V Emprendedora started operation.

A fire incident occurred on the vessel, following its departure from the Port of Scarborough, Tobago at 11.23pm on August 23rd, 2023.

The fire was later isolated and extinguished by crew members, in accordance with vessel emergency protocols.

No injuries were reported on board.
