Remains found in Tabaquite that of a man

The skeletal remains, which were found in Tabaquite on Tuesday by a farmer, have been identified as those of a man.

The farmer, Rudrunath Ramrattan, found the bones around 10am, while digging for yams just off Alleyne Road, Brasso Venado.

He immediately notified the police when he found the bones.

Police stated later that the remains were of a man who had been wearing a purple vest, black track pants and red boxers.

Investigators say they will be poring over several ‘missing persons’ reports in the coming days with the hope they can pinpoint to some accuracy who the person could possibly be as they await results from tests to be performed.

Investigators say if anyone has any information that can assist them they can contact the Chaguanas Police Station.
