Relief As Suspected Monkeypox Samples Return Negative Results

The two latest samples for Monkeypox have tested negative for the virus.

Confirmation of this comes from Chief Medical Officer, Dr Roshan Parasram.

The CMO made the revelation during Wednesday’s Ministry of Health news briefing.

Dr Parasram said, locally, eleven monkey pox samples have returned negative results.

Dr Parasram also indicated the various factors being used to test for suspected monkeypox cases.
