The roadway along the Paria Main Road is cleared and now back to regular flow of vehicular traffic following the area being impassable due to heavy rainfall on Wednesday.
Minister of Rural Development and Local Government, Faris Al Rawi, gave the update during the weekly post cabinet news briefing on Thursday.
Minister Al Rawi commended the various stakeholders who contributed to returning affected areas to a level of normalcy.
Minister Al Rawi also noted that forty persons had to access emergency shelters in Sangre-Grande on Wednesday but have since returned to their homes.
