Regional Corporations Cited As A Key Player In Monitoring Developments.

Regional Corporations are required to closely monitor developments which would have been approved by the Town and Country Division of the Ministry of Planning and Development.

This is revealed by Ancil Kerr of the Town and Country Division Thursday afternoon.

There have been complaints and concerns from some members of the public about the construction of buildings which have not gotten the all clear from relevant agencies.

Developments which also do not satisfy building requirements are another area of concern which continues to engage the attention of the relevant authorities.

However, speaking at a news briefing Thursday afternoon, Mr Kerr elaborated on the important role of regional corporations in procedures which are currently being followed.

Mr Kerr also indicated how online applications are treated adding there is a team work approach between the various agencies to ensure what is finally approved has proper backing.
