Redemption promoters thank fans for patience amid “issues observed”

In lieu of the complaints received during and after Saturday’s staging of Redemption 8, the organisers have issued somewhat of an apology.

Patrons from General to VIP had numerous complaints, mainly about the bar service, logistical set up and audio and visual issues.

The organisers, in a statement, thanked the patrons for their patience and understanding shown throughout the night and into the morning, amid the issues observed and shared.

The statement added:

“A concert of this magnitude always comes with many, many lessons, which assist in planning for future events. Your words and concerns have not fallen on deaf ears.

Our aim has, over the years been to provide Trinidad and Tobago with a distinguished cast of artistes who preach love, peace, brotherhood and positivity. We truly believe that that in itself was accomplished, despite it all.

Thank you for coming out and standing as one people in the gap for those who do not understand positive energy and the need for it, especially at a time like this in our nation’s history.
We encourage you to be your brother’s keeper, lift up our nation in prayer and stand firm for righteousness and love.”
