Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester City Could Be Banned from Champions League

Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid will be expelled from the Champions League this week, according to a UEFA member.

Danish UEFA Member Jesper Moller has said he expects the three teams, who are due to play in the Champions League semi-finals next week, to be kicked out of the competition this Friday after they announced their involvement in the European Super League last night.

“The clubs must go, and I expect that to happen on Friday,” Moller said. “Then we have to find out how to finish (this season’s) Champions League tournament.”

The ESL has shocked the footy world and many have expressed their outrage towards the league, with UEFA, the FA and the Premier League saying they “remain united in [their] efforts to stop this cynical project”.
