Senator Jason Williams makes his maiden contribution in the Senate on a Private Members motion brought by Sen Sadam Hosein on crime.
Jason Williams was a former media personality turned politician and was officially sworn in to the Senate of Trinidad and Tobago on May 17th.
Williams, is a People’s National Movement’s candidate for Barataria/San Juan.
Williams 41, had his first brush with parliamentary protocol, when House Speaker Christine Kangaloo put him out of the Senate for ten minutes, because his cell phone rang.
Williams who over the years have been working on Urban radio, said that he wants inspire to the youth of today and be that beacon of hope for ‘grass youth’ young adults and teens.
