Rochelle Cummings was raped, sodomized, strangled and left for dead in September of 2014. Her attacker is still roaming the streets quite possibly attacking other women and girls. She said this ordeal has badly damaged her life and she will never get over it. She suffers from depression, anxiety, PTSD and suicidal ideation. She says she is afraid to be around men. She says she does not feel safe in Trinidad and Tobago. She says she will never be able to get over this…..
Rochelle wants the Laws changed so that rapists cannot get bail. She says the system is failing girls and women and allows monsters and predators to be able to roam the streets of Trinidad and Tobago freely.
She is urging women to do all they can to protect themselves.
