Rain on a curfew set holiday!

Citizens are already expected to remain indoors, now the rain is here the weekend heat will be yesterday’s news.

According to the Met Office, there will be cloudy periods with intermittent showers will be interrupted by sunny intervals. One or two of these showers may become moderate to heavy mostly over southern areas.

There is 40% (medium) chance of a thunderstorm in a few areas. Tonight will be cloudy at times with the occasional shower.

Persons can expect gusty winds and street flooding may occur in heavy showers and thunderstorms.

There is a moderate concentration of Saharan dust in the atmosphere. Sensitive persons are advised to take the necessary precautions.

Meanwhile over in Tobago and the remainder of the Lesser Antilles will be sunny, hazy and breezy conditions with one or two brisk showers in a few areas.
