A quantity of marijuana was discovered by officers of the Inter-Agency Task Force, during an anti-crime exercise, conducted in the Port of Spain Division between 8:35am and 12:05pm, on Saturday 9th October, 2021.
During the exercise, officers with the assistance of the Canine Unit, proceeded to Mango Rose Plannings, where they conducted several searches.
The searches resulted in officer finding a suitcase hidden under some debris containing 1.6 kilogrammes of marijuana wrapped in three packets.
Investigations are ongoing.
