Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh, made the revelation while responding to a question posed to him by the Opposition Member for Fyzabad in the House of Representatives on Wednesday afternoon.
MP Dr Lackram Bodoe wanted to find out when the Government intends to expand the category of persons who are eligible to receive a third primary Covid-19 vaccination, regardless of the brand?
The question was put forward by MP Bodoe in light of what he claimed was information released by Health Officials that of a total of one thousand, four hundred and thirty-seven persons who died from complications associated with Covid-19; fifty-six were fully vaccinated.
However, Dr Deyalsingh in his response sought to clarify the development.
