Chief Medical Officer Dr. Roshan Parasram discussed a new device that can be used in the fight against Covid- a pulse oximeter.
Dr. Parasram said that the device is used to check a person’s oxygen saturation and pulse rate.
He said these are to be used for the over 1500 Covid-positive patients who are currently under home isolation.
He then discussed how the device should be used.
Dr. Parasram then explained what patients should look for in the readings that the device produces.
Finally, he explained why the pulse oximeter can aid in the fight against Covid-19.
