Public Utilites Minister On Blackout:Preliminary Report Indicates No Evidence Of Sabotage

Preliminary information surrounding Wednesday’s blackout in Trinidad indicates no evidence of sabotage.

This update from Minister of Public Utilities, Marvin Gonzales, was one of the main points highlighted at a news briefing held by the Ministry of National Security at its Abercrombry Street, Port of Spain Office on Thursday.

Minister Gonzales told reporters the preliminary report on the incident was submitted to him from General Manager of the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission, Kelvin Ramsook.

The Public Utilities Minister said the preliminary report was also passed on to Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley.
