Forty (40) Public Officers from ten (10) Ministries and Government agencies successfully completed a basic Spanish Course for Public Servants, from the period of January to February, 2020.
The Public Officials received their Certificates of Completion at a Certificate Distribution Ceremony held at the National Library Information Systems (NALIS) building on Wednesday 24th February, 2021.
The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs and the Embassy of the Republic of Chile in Trinidad and Tobago, jointly organised this event.
His Excellency Juan Anibal Barria, Ambassador to the Republic of Chile in Trinidad and Tobago presented certificates to successful recipients.
Deputy Permanent Secretary (Ag), Bruce Lai, in the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs also presented certificates to recipients.
