Public Responding Favourably To Vaccine Hesitancy Hotline.

To date one hundred persons have called the Vaccine Hesitancy Hotline in Trinidad and Tobago, which officially went into operation on October 15th.

The hotline, 607-8922, will give the population the opportunity to speak one-on-one with a physician and have their particular concern addressed.

The project has the support of the Trinidad and Tobago Non-Communicable Disease Alliance and the Pan American Health Organization.

Director of the organization, Andrew Dhanoo, on the Power Breakfast Show on Power 102 Digital Friday was questioned on the public’s response to the hotline so far.

Mr Dhanoo described it as very encouraging.

Mr Dhanoo said twenty-five physicians are supporting the cause on a voluntary basis.
