Two Public Transport Service Corporation (PTSC) employees were both fined $2500 each when they appeared before a Port-of-Spain
Magistrate yesterday charged with larceny diesel. The incident occurred in June 2018.
Curtis St. Louis and Andrew Sergeant were both found guilty of Larceny Diesel when they appeared before Port-of-Spain Magistrate Sarah De Silva.
St. Louis and Sergeant were ordered to pay forthwith $1000 and were granted time to pay the remainder. In default, the duo would
serve three months hard labour. The duo was arrested on Monday 11th June 2018 after an officer on duty at the PTSC compound, South Quay, Port of Spain, observed the men loading two yellow kegs of diesel from a marked PTSC
vehicle into another vehicle.
The kegs had an estimated TT$119.00 worth of diesel fuel.
