PSA President ready to “put up a resistance” if jobs are cut at WASA

The President of the Public Services Association has told WASA workers not to believe the Public Utilities Minister, as job cuts are underway at the Authority.

Yesterday the Public Utilities Minister said that there were no plans from the Government to reduce the workforce at the Water and Sewage Authority.

However, PSA President Watson Duke says the Minister is being disingenuous and this is far from the truth.

Duke says the government will have a fight on its hands if it decides to sever staff at the utility.
