Finance Minister, Colm Imbert said Property Tax will form part of the tax regime for 2021.
He made mention of this during the Fiscal Budget for 2020/2021 on Monday 5th October.
Minister Imbert said from January 2021, petroleum retailers and dealers will determine their own margins, ending 46 years of fuel subsidies.
He pointed out that fuel subsidy payments have been in the vicinity of $20 billion over the last 14 years.
All National Petroleum gas stations will go on sale, first preference will be given to existing dealers.
Mr Imbert stated that liberalisation of the liquid petroleum gas sector will help the industry remain viable and sustainable
