Property Tax – When Implemented – Could Yield Some $400 Million, Says Finance Minister

The government could collect in the vicinity of 400 million dollars in Property Tax when implemented.

This could result in each regional corporation getting about thirty million dollars every year.

Minister of Finance, Colm Imbert, said this revenue is critical to funding various activities under a revised local government system.

Speaking at the Spotlight on the Economy Friday, Minister Imbert provided more details on why this model is needed moving forward.
