Progressive Party suggests five-year cycles for budget

Interim political leader of the Progressive Party Nikoli Edwards believes the Government should look at a different approach to infrastructure maintenance in the country. He is suggesting a ‘Roads Authority’ as a possible agency to more effectively deal with maintenance issues.

Edwards also referenced the urgent need for the Government to deal with VAT refunds to business men in the interest of sustaining and running their businesses, in addition to budgeting in five as opposed to one year cycles, with annual revisions.
