Progress is being made in implementing measures for treating with persons affected by Long Covid.
This has been done through the establishment of Long Covid clinics at institution across various Regional Health Authorities since October 2020, which has so far facilitated hundreds of patients.
Information regarding this development was put forward by Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh in the Parliament on Friday following questions from the Opposition on the matter.
Minister Deyalsingh indicated that although there are a variety processes for accessing care at the clinics, the preferred method is by way of referrals.
