A prison officer was reportedly robbed during a home invasion in Arouca on Saturday night.
Reports remain sketchy at this time, but izzso understands that around 7:30pm, the man was at home with his family, when three armed men stormed in.
The prison officer and his family were beaten, tied up, while the men ransacked their home for valuables.
The suspects made off with cash, jewelery, a laptop, cell phones along with the prison officer’s licensed glock 19 firearm and several rounds of ammunition.
