The Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service is mourning the sudden passing of Prisons Officer I #2845, Rudy Boodram, on Sunday April 04, 2021.
According to an initial report, Boodram who served for over twenty-two years, reported for duty at around 11:35 am at the Golden Grove Prison, when he suddenly collapsed. He was rushed to the Arima Health Facility where he was seen by the attending physician, and was pronounced dead at 12:30 pm.
Commissioner of Prisons (Ag.), Mr. Dennis Pulchan expresses his most sincere and deepest condolences on behalf of the Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service, to the family, friends and colleagues of Officer Boodram, and prays that all are granted comfort during this difficult and trying period.
He has assured that all courtesies will be extended to Officer Boodram’s family.
