Princes Town MP: How Will T&TEC Clear $3 Billion NGC Debt?

The government is told to indicate how the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission will be able to clear its debt to the National Gas Company.

Opposition Member of Parliament for Princes Town, Barry Padarath, claims the amount stands in the vicinity of three billion dollars.

Speaking in the parliament this afternoon, MP Padarath noted that there was a time when T&TEC did not owe NGC any debt.

However, MP Padarath said the nation must be informed how it will be cleared and the situation not allowed to occur again.
