Prime Minister, Dr. Keith Rowley, is voicing concern with the situation between the Police Service Commission and Gary Griffith.
Recently, Mr. Griffith took the PSC to court over his suspension.
Dr. Rowley said as Head of the National Security Council he is paying close attention to the development.
Dr. Rowley made the comments while speaking at a news briefing held at the Diplomatic Center, St Ann’s, Thursday afternoon.
Dr. Rowley said he is optimistic the situation can be resolved.
The Prime Minister told reporters there is no political interference driving the process.
