Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley, admits there is a delay in the proclamation of procurement legislation in Trinidad and Tobago.
Dr Rowley said the issue is one which is engaging the attention of the Attorney General.
The Prime Minister said issues have been identified with the legislation in its current form and the aim is to expand it.
Dr Rowley said appropriate action is being taken to address the matter.
Dr Rowley assured the AG will inform the population on the progress being made in this area and when the legislation will be proclaimed.
