Premier League manager fired 4 games into the season

The Premier League has seen its first managerial casualty of the season just four games in as Bournemouth have sacked boss Scott Parker.

The sacking comes days after his team was mauled 9-0 by Liverpool.

After the loss, Parker, 41, said he was “not surprised” and said the team was “ill-equipped at this level”.

The sacking has been described as “harsh”, as although the team saw three straight league defeats, the losses came in matches against Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool.
