Prayers and tears for Andrea, as Three Roads Recreational group host vigil

A large crowd came out last evening to march around the Three Roads Recreation ground in the Caroni Central district, to prayer and stand in solidarity with the rest of the country as it mourns the loss of young, Andrea Bharatt.

The Three Roads Seva and Cultural Group, headed by Mr. Dylan Kurjah organised a Candlelight Vigil, followed by Words of Prayer and Greetings by MP Arnold Ram.

This initiative was also supported by The Three Roads Watch Group, led by Mr. Ganesh and by the Councillor of Freeport/Chickland, Mr. Anil Baliram.

One of the Hunters, who also volunteered himself to supplement the search efforts for Andrea, was also in attendance.

As part of the proceedings, they stood in remembrance of all our other young women who have either lost their lives or are still missing.

MP Arnold Ram said he remains committed to working hard with the relevant watch groups and community groups to Protect our Women and the Vulnerable in our neighbourhoods.
