During the Minister of Health bi-weekly press conference on Monday morning, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Roshan Parasram confirmed that the 293 cruise ship workers will be quarantined on land.
He said the workers needed to disembark as the vessel, Enchantment of the Seas, is departing the country tomorrow, Tuesday.
He then provided the following update:

This brings the total number of tests done to 5139.

There are currently 9 patients in Caura Hospital receiving treatment for Covid-19.
Dr. Parasram said four of them are expected to be discharged later toady pending their second test results.
He said there are currently 661 persons in the parallel health centres.

When asked about the capacity at the health care systems, Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh said that there are approximately 200 beds at Couva Hospital which will be used.
He added that there is also space in the Balandra facility and the Sangre Grande facility.
