Chairman of the Port Authority Lyle Alexander denies that the Port has resorted to any bullying tactics.
He said they simply reentered the property because of a breach of a lease agreement.
He made the comment on the Power Breakfast Show this morning.
A HIGH Court judge recently issued an injunction preventing the POSINCO from communicating with tenants of the MovieTowne.
Alexander said he does not consider them in breach of the recent court order.
Yesterday on the Power Breakfast Shoe Movie Towne Owner Derick Chin said that the tactics of the Port has been all about bullying and that court matters have been ongoing but POSINCO has chosen to take action that ignores the process and a direct decision by the court.
This morning Alexander said that the Port Authority does not agree with Derick Chin’s position.
On the Power Breakfast Show yesterday Chin revealed that he was preparing to approach the TTPS since there were security guards placed on the compound by the Port that were directing workers when they could gain access to the facility and this was against the law.
Alexander said there are security officers on site related to two specific areas of Movie Towne to maintain the interest of POSINCO.
