Pollard, Rossouw Help Multan Sultans Book Spot In Pakistan Supper League Playoffs

Former West Indies cricket captain Keiron Pollard scored 52 runs off 25 balls to help his team, Multan Sultans, pull off a four wicket win against Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Supper League at Rawalpindi, today.

Set 243 to win, Sultans made 244 for 6 off 19.1 overs.

Pollard shared in a 99 run third wicket partnership with South Africa’s, Rilee Rossouw, who top scored the batting with 121 runs.

Rossouw showed his dominance in the batting, hitting 12 fours and eight sixes.

Sultans are third on the PSL standings after nine matches, on ten points, with five wins and four defeats.

Zalmi scored 242 for 6 off the allotted 20 overs with Captain Babar Azam leading the way with 73 runs.

His innings included nine boundaries and two sixes.

West Indian, Rovman Powell, scored only two runs in Zalmi.

Saim Ayub was also among the runs with 53.

Zalmi closed on made 242 for 6.
