Political parties are asked to comply with the Code of Ethical Political Conduct for the General Elections

Chairman of the Council for Ethical Political Behaviour, Dr Bishnu Ragoonath, is urging political parties involved in the August 10th general election to comply with the Code of Ethical Political Conduct.

Speaking with News Now this afternoon, Dr Ragoonath said the Council is hoping that politicians stay away from tarnishing the characters of individuals and stay focus on the issues.

 

Dr Ragoonath then gave some insight into how the Council will monitor the elections proceedings.
