Police shoot suspect in attempted kidnapping after high speed chase

A high speed chase ensued after police were alerted about an attempted kidnapping in San Jusn a stones throw from the San Juan Police sub station late Saturday.

The suspect remains under police guard at hospital after he was shot by po­lice dur­ing the incident.

The Identify of the victim has not been revealed pending the completion of the investigation.
Passers by alerted police about the incident which resulted in the chase through the San Juan and Barataria areas. Suspects eventually ran in different directions evading police.
