Officers of the Inter Agency Task Force have seized one FAL assault rifle fitted with a magazine containing six rounds of 7.62 ammunition.
On December 1st 2020, around 8:50 pm, the officers were conducting a foot patrol along Bayshore West, Old Train Line, Marabella.
They observed a group of five men standing along the bridge, who, upon seeing the approaching officers, fled in multiple directions.
The officers, while attempting to capture the men, noted that one of the five threw an object on the side of the roadway.
Further checks of the area led to the seizure of the assault rifle and ammunition.
No one was arrested.
