Police respond to fights at South East POS Secondary School

Officers of the Inter-Agency Task Force and the Besson Street Police station were called into the South East Port-of-Spain Secondary school (SEPoS) on Wednesday, after a series of fights broke out on the compound.

Reports state that the first fracas broke out after midday and was followed by six other altercations later in the day.

Things became so heated the police had to be called in and one student was pepper-sprayed by the officers after she refused to desist from acting in an aggressive manner towards the lawmen and other students.

A GML report states that the initial fight began after Form Five girls began fighting with Form Two girls.
