Police are actively on the hunt to find three suspects after a supermarket was robbed at gunpoint in Tacarigua.
Two workers were at the grocery on Monday around 2.45 pm when three masked men entered.
According to reports two of the suspects pulled out firearms and announced a hold-up.
The robbers then made their way to the manager’s office where they stole $30,000 in cash, a quantity of alcohol and cigarettes, the value of which was to be ascertained.
The suspects then fled the scene.
The police were notified and officers of the Northern Division are continuing enquiries.
