Police officer kills gunman during a shoot-out

Unconfirmed reports suggest three men in a vehicle shot at a police officer while he was jogging up Lady Chancellor hill.

According to reports the incident took place around 7:10pm on Wednesday 13th January, when the police officer was seen jogging and was shot at by the three suspects on Lady Chancellor Hill, Port-of-Spain.

The officer managed to return fire, shooting the driver who was later conveyed to Port-of-Spain General Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
