Homicide detectives are currently investigating the murder of a man in Valencia on Saturday morning.
Officers attached to the Sangre Grande CID, responded to a call around 6:55am and proceeded to Sawmill Road, off the Valencia Old Road, Valencia.
Upon arrival, they discovered the body of a man, lying in a pool of blood.
There was a gunshot wound to the right side of the head.
No word yet on the identity of the victim.
Police said the man is of mixed descent, dark brown and approximately six feet tall. He was wearing a black T-shirt, light blue long jeans, a black fabric belt and grey slippers.
