Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found last night.
According to reports the bloodied body of an unidentified African male was found wrapped in a sheet and dumped in East Port-of-Spain.
Police at the Duncan Street Police Post say they heard gunshots in the area around 12:15 am on October 12.
Officers carried out checks in the vicinity of Mini’s Burger Joint at Apartment 1, Duncan Street where they found the body of a man, wrapped in a sheet stained with blood.
The victim is said to be about six feet, with a beard, mustache and sideburns
He was wearing blue boxer shorts and a blue multi-colored Hawaiian style pants.
The deceased bore gunshot wounds to the upper body.
