Police, army and hunters join forces to search Aripo for more bodies

Is the Heights of a Aripo being used as a dumping ground for bodies by violent offenders?

The police are now looking into this and have embarked on a wide search involving over 200 members of the TTPS and Defence Force.

Officers assembled from as early as 7a.m. this morning at the Eastern Regional Sporting Complex.
They were accompanied by members of the Hunting Association and are being led by Deputy Commissioner of Police – Operations, Joanne Archie and Superintendent Rishi Singh.

They intend to search approximately nine kilometers of forested area.

This exercise follows the discovery of the body of Andrea Bharatt in Aripo and the skeletal remains of a human near her crime scene.
