Point Fortin Man In Court For Murder And Firearm Possession

A Point Fortin man has appeared before a Point Fortin Magistrate, charged with the murder of Subrina Thomas, which occurred in February.

AKIM LONDON, 38, was also charged with Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition, when he appeared before Magistrate Alicia Chanka, in the Point Fortin Magistrates’ Court, on Friday.

The matter was adjourned to April 18th.

Thomas, 45, of Aripero, was at the Point Fortin home of a relative on Monday, February 13th when she was shot multiple times by a gunman who fled the scene.

Investigations into the matter resulted in one male suspect being arrested by officers of the South Western Division Task Force on March 14th.

London was subsequently charged with murder and possession of firearm and possession of ammunition.
