The People’s National Movement Women’s League is extending well wishes to Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley who has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a media release the League wished the Prime Minister and political leader of the party, a speedy recovery and is confident stellar medical care will be provided by the nation’s doctors.
The PNM’s Women League said as the Prime Minister himself once called for a National Day of Prayer we urge citizens of all creeds and faiths to do the same for him and other Covid 19 patients.
It has also urged the citizenry to continue to be vigilant in the fight against Covid -19.
It said to those who are eligible for the vaccine, it is reminding persons to take the necessary steps to ensure they make an appointment to receive the vaccine.
