Political leader for the Tobago PNM Council Tracy Davidson-Celestine is running unopposed in the upcoming Tobago House of Assembly (THA) election.
She is the current Secretary of Health, Wellness and Family Development, and will contest the Lambeau/Signal Hill district.
Davidson-Celestine recently beat Former Chief Secretary Kelvin Charles for the political leadership of the Tobago arm of the PNM.
Charles, who is the current representative for the Black Rock/Whim/Spring Garden electoral district, has decided to not contest any district in the upcoming elections.
However, he will remain as Secretary for Education, Innovation and Energy.
On Wednesday a list of nominees was published and the various parties have until today, Friday, to decide which nominees will be chosen to be screened for the election which should take place sometime next year.
