PM: Task Force Given Six Weeks To Submit Report On Recommendations Related To Child Abuse

The Task Force set up by the government to address recommendations relating to abuse of children have been given a six week period to submit its findings to the cabinet.

Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley, told reporters at the weekly post cabinet media briefing, Thursday afternoon, the government will move with a level of urgency with respect to the recommendations and some have already been acted upon and they will not be allowed to fall through the crack.

Dr Rowley also revealed how the government will act with respect to unlicensed homes and community residences.

Dr Rowley assured responsible action will be taken by the ruling administration and he will not respond to those who are seeking to score political mileage from the development.
