Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley, says the current executive of the Tobago House of the Assembly will stay in place until sticking points being experienced in the THA are resolved.
Today there was six –six deadlock during voting in the Assembly to appoint a Presiding Officer.
Speaking at the weekly post cabinet news briefing held at the Diplomatic Center, St Ann’s this afternoon; Dr Rowley said he is getting legal advice on the development.
Dr Rowley commented on certain peculiar aspects of the THA operations which must be fulfilled before certain actions can be carried out.
